Not really searching for a sub, instead a new boat.
It’s also doubtful that our new dive boat will be called Red October. It’s what came to mind while thinking of a fitting title for this post. We have been keeping an eye out for a new boat and have one important issue to deal with. The depth at the dock is just under 4 feet and some of the vessels we have eyed, required a bit more. Some of the latest potentials include,
Newton Boats are built specifically for diving purposes. The boat we looked at was 14 feet wide. That was enough room to do a conga line. It had a bathroom and best of all it was covered and would easily make the crossing between our sister sites. While others focus on diving in the same areas, we want to expand the reach of our adventures. The goals is to continue exploring and visit sites which our guests are curious about. One of the limiting factors to date was the open nature of our fast and get the job done pair, Xbalanque and Catracha. Soon we will offer something more.
Xbalanque is getting ready to go receive some much needed love. She will be dry docked and given the care she deserves. The hold up is simply getting the next boat. We hope to be ready to go before the year is over.
